ABOUT LA RAMADE
La Ramade is a spacious, split level, white stone house, built in the traditional Perigordian style set in its own private grounds with a private pool. It sleeps up to eight people plus a baby and offers flexible accommodation suitable for a large family or smaller groups.
The house comprises four bedrooms (2 double, 2 twin), a bathroom, a shower room, breakfast kitchen and an open plan living/dining room with access to a terrace.
UPPER LEVEL
The large open plan living/dining area features triple aspect windows, a stone fireplace for log fires in the winter and a tiled floor. It is comfortably furnished and provides seating for eight. There is also a large oak dining table with six chairs. Entertainment facilites include a TV, DVD and CD players. French doors open onto a covered terrace containing tables and chairs and is ideal for outdoor eating.
The terrace is covered and is south facing with excellent views across the river to the village of Daglan and the hills beyond. There are stone steps leading down to the garden and swimming pool.
The kitchen with breakfast area contains fitted oak units and has doors leading out onto the terrace. Kitchen appliances include a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric oven with gas hob, microwave and toaster.
Also on the upper floor is a spacious double bedroom with double aspect windows, a bathroom with a bath/shower and a separate toilet.
LOWER LEVEL
On the lower level there are a further three bedrooms, one double and two twin, all with built in wardrobes. Shower room with a wash basin and a toilet. Laundry room with a washing machine/tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
OUTSIDE
The garden is spread out over two levels. The upper level contains a figure of eight swimming pool (8.5m x 5.5m x 4.5m) and outdoor shower. The pool is surrounded by a paved terrace and grassed area with a barbecue. There are also sun loungers and parasols. Since photos of the pool have been taken it has been fenced in accordance with new French law.
The lower level is grassed with trees and shrubs and has private access to the River Céou. Parking is available for several cars and a small games room houses a table tennis table.
